I’ve been attending a photographic course with one of New Zealand’s leading photographers – so a bit sidetracked. I’ll post an update soon on the course.

Meanwhile, the property is showing all the signs of Autumn (or Fall for my US readers). I’m a bit sad about this because summer here in NZ is truly delightful. Ironic really because in Oz I couldn’t wait for Winter to arrive. The first glimpses of Autumn for me was a cause to party.

During summer here, there were some hot days but they didn’t last long before a welcome spot of rain and cooler weather wafted in. I like the changeability of the summer weather in NZ. It’s now getting noticeably cooler in the morning and at night but warmish during the day. I think though Zeph and Zsa Zsa will need dog coats pretty soon. In line with my determination to buy NZ-made products in 2011, I’ll have to hunt down NZ pet companies that make dog coats.

Today, I thought I’d post a few shots showing you the beautiful Autumnal colours of New Zealand. Really, in any season, this country is quite stunning.
