You have to be fast when it comes to taking photos of Zeph and Zsa Zsa. They’re such active English Pointers – one moment they’re here, the next moment they’ve disappeared in a flash. I can’t fumble around with my Nikon D40 or various plastic fantastic Lomo cameras because I will have lost that moment. So it’s the trusty iPhone more often than not.

The other day, they rushed inside and leapt onto the couch. The very same couch we’ve told them time and again is not a dog couch. We have a special protective cover on it though. And they stopped for two nanoseconds to look at the iPhone before, you guessed it, they rushed off. To who knows what or where. But when you’re an English Pointer, you have places to go, people to see and things to do.

Too much light behind them in the photo I know – but look at their cute faces. Adorable! Like two little bookends.
