It’s that time of year again! Our beautiful cherry blossom has made its annual appearance. Despite the horrendous gale-force winds we experienced during October, the cherry blossom stood firm and bloomed right after the winds huffed and puffed themselves out.

Actually, it’s pretty well protected by the Secret Garden and the weeping willow (which took a hit last year with the winds and had to be significantly pruned). The cherry blossom started to awaken around late August, then seemed to slumber until after the winds. Perhaps the tree knew what was coming. It only blooms for a few short weeks but the tree looks spectacular.

Until next year beautiful cherry blossom!
